From June 26 to 28, 2025, Lignano Sabbiadoro will host the 41st edition of the Ernest Hemingway Prize, a prestigious literary event honoring the deep bond between the author and the Friulian lagoon and hinterland—so cherished by him that he called Lignano “the Florida of Italy.”
In addition to celebrating major cultural figures, the initiative offers an opportunity to rediscover the beloved places of the Old Man and the Sea author, to whom the city has dedicated a public park and this internationally renowned award.
