On Friday, August 2, 2024, the Beach Arena (Beach Office 5 in Lignano Sabbiadoro) will host a concert by Alessia Aquilani, better known as Alexia.
Alexia is one of the most internationally renowned Italian singers. Since her debut, she has sold over 5 million records globally, earning 8 Gold Records and 2 Platinum Records. Her first single, “Me and You,” released in 1995, reached number one in Italy and Spain. Hits like “Summer is Crazy,” “Number One,” and “Uh la la la” dominated European charts in 1996. Her first album, “Fun Club” from 1997, and the subsequent “The Party” from 1998 both achieved Platinum status with over 500,000 copies sold each. In 2002, Alexia began singing in Italian, finding great success once again. That year, she participated in the Sanremo Festival for the first time with “Dimmi come,” which became one of the most played songs on Italian radio, and in 2003, she won the Festival with “Per dire di no.”
The concert is free and does not require reservations; access will be allowed until all seats are filled.
